In a Minute
It is amazing what two 18-month-olds can do in one minute.
- In the time it takes me to brush my teeth, Matt can jam 3 dvd's into the VCR. The rest of the cases are in process of being emptied and scattered.
- In the time it takes me to make two bottles, Kayla can empty all of her clothes out of her dresser.
- In 60 seconds flat...
- every book we own can be on the floor
- all pantry items 3 feet and below can be spread around the house-- some can be opened and contents dumped into piles on the floor
- the rocking chair can be tipped over, and toy box emptied
- the freshly folded clothes can be tossed out and the laundry basket can be full of books videos and two babies
- Kayla can be on the table emptying the bag of cheerio's onto the floor
In one second... a smile can be flashed, and a kiss and hug given to make me forget about all of the mess :) In a second, I can remember how richly blessed I am to have two extremely intelligent (the mischief is really just a sign of genius-in-process), beautiful, loving, trouble makers :)
In other thoughts, I'm wondering if Club Crackers can sustain life... Matt's trying this new diet currently.
