2 TIMES 2

Well, my babies are now officially two years old. It's hard to believe that they're getting so big! Today (at 2 years and 1 day old) they slept for the first time ever in a "big kid" bed. Although it took a lot of patience from mom, they really seemed to like the beds (toddler sized) and eventually fell asleep. It took 1 hour for Kayla to drift off, and 20 mins more for Matt. They didn't get up a million times like I thought they would, but they did have a good time jumping, and talking to each other (they couldn't really see each other when they were in their cribs).

I was always the kind of person that said I'd keep my kids in cribs as long as possible, but Kayla broke her arm about 6 months ago by jumping out of the crib and she has since learned how to unzip the crib tent which was preventing future jump attempts. So... it seemed like the time was right. Also Grandpa and Grandma W just bought them new toddler bed comforter sets for their birthday. I'll keep ya all posted about how this works out.
