Living the life...
There are days that go better than others, and although today started out pretty crummy-- it has dramatically improved (the peak was Matt and Kayla's PERFECT behavior at Sams Club). Anyway, we're busy around here. Peter was gone on business all last week, so we kept ourselves as busy as possible... which was pretty good-- but I think may have drained me even more. On the next few times he leaves I think I'm going to plan less activities and just try to enjoy the kids and down time more. (I'll let you know how that works).
We're looking at about less than 16 weeks until the big Due Date... and we have a TON of stuff to do before then. I'm already Christmas shopping (and birthday shopping for my kids)-- I'm hoping to have that all done by the weekend after Thanksgiving. Much to clean and organize before the baby's grand entrance as well. I want to start with as little chaos in the house as possible-- we'll see how that goes though ;) I have a "honey do" list that runs miles, and a list for myself that's equally as long-- thankfully I have a "honey" that doesn't complain about it (much).
Baby's still nameless, well mostly-- Kayla's suggested "Jacob" a few times, (even though it's a girl) and will occasionally mention one of our possible names as the baby's name. I'm pretty sure matt's content to call it "baby"-- he's way more excited that he'll get to chew gum when the baby comes.
Well, I think that's about all that's going on for now. I have about three baskets of folded laundry to put away, and a kitchen that's begging to be cleaned-- so I'm off. Nap times are only so long ;)
I'll leave ya with a little cuteness...
Two cuties on a bench at Kensington Metro Park.
Matt with a real "hike" helmet on.
Matt (and Kayla) with Matt's hero-- practically professional football player "uncle dan" (he thought he saw him on TV during a state game and went CRAZY!)
