Halloween and such

Well, zoo boo was fun, but cold and wet. I'm supposed to get some pictures from Anna, but most of ours didn't turn out from that night (flash issues or something). Matt refused to wear his coat over his football uniform for about 1/2 the night- until I looked at him and saw his entire body shaking-- reminding him that sometimes even Danny (a football player) wears a coat- I put his on. He was much happier once warm.

Halloween was a blast. Peter worked on Monday until 5:15am, then on Tuesday (Halloween) left just to trick-or-treat with us, and then headed back to the office until 10:30pm. He's nothing if not committed to getting his job done :) Anyway, the kids trick-or-treated for about an hour and a half, much longer than we thought they'd last. Then we headed back to Sue and Cappy's and hung out for about an hour before heading home. As I pulled into the driveway some kid/guy jumped the fence out of our backyard-- but thankfully our neighbor was out and came over to check our window's etc-- being pregnant, with 2 kids and no husband home-- that made me feel much better. Meanwhile, as I walked with John outside our house- the kids stayed in their chairs in the locked van- matt decided to bite into his glow stick- ingesting about 1/2 of it-- thankfully grandma Lorraine had purchased them NON-toxic glow sticks. What a GREAT grandma ;)

We've spent the past couple weekends trying to get stuff ready for the baby (and baby shower items) that will be invading our house in the near future. We tackled the basement this past weekend gathering a bunch of clothes/toys and stuff to donate and throw away. We also have a pretty large pile of stuff to "try" to sell on e-bay/craigslist.

This week, I'm planning on "deep cleaning" (for a good explanation of this you'll have to ask Janet or my mom) the majority of the upstairs. As well, as trying to get everything else in order before our shower. I hate to add chaos to chaos. Then we'll be getting ready for the upcoming holiday season.

Here's some pics of my little pumpkins :)
