My baby's getting big...

Every once in awhile I get a glimpse into the future when my kids are more independent, talkative etc. Today, I realized that Matt and Kayla are so much more "big kid" than baby lately. Kayla's currently downstairs playing her "puter" (daddy would be so proud that the machine he built for them is getting lots of use). Anyway, she came up to see what I was doing, and said "I'm going back to play my puter". It's weird not always having them at my feet when they're up, but definitely getting easier to get things done. :)

On a side note, my sister-in-law Laura is my favorite person of today. Although my mom and Jillian offered to watch the kids while I voted, I wasn't sure where I had to go- so passed on that and just hung out and talked to them while they were over visiting the kids. Laura called later, and asked if she could stay with the kids during their nap so I could vote AND she even knew where I was supposed to do that :) So awesome props to her for thinking about us, and always being so willing to help out! Thanks Laura.
