Deep Cleaning Machine and more...
150 Lysol wipes, a bottle of soft scrub w/ bleach, 2 vacuum bags and various other cleaning products later- I can happily say that this Webber house is starting to feel "deep cleaned". I even washed the dust ruffle on our bed while my husband vacuumed out vents and vacuumed every square inch of our bedroom. I love a good deep clean ;) (I'm happy to say my husband is extremely helpful making the process faster and more fun as well). Anyway, I pretty much just have the playroom left, and then maintaining the house until a certain little someone decides to show up.
I've finished wrapping all of our presents (excluding one Christmas present still to be bought) including matt and Kayla’s birthday presents and presents from the baby to them. And have even washed all of the baby clothes/blankets and wiped down and set up all the baby gear-- we are organized ;) I'm told as soon as I get behind on the laundry, have dishes piled in the sink etc-- is when the little princess will arrive... oh well- let her try to find a time ;)
The only side effect of my cleaning frenzy- other than the fact that my husband and kids probably want to move out to escape the "one more thing" list- is that my feet and legs are swollen like balloons-- you can literally press dents into my feet which remain for about 5 minutes-- ask peter about his smiley face creation on my left foot. This baby has definitely given my body a run for its money-- she's currently enjoying kicking the inside of my ribs, which is pretty far from comfortable, but what can you do- she only has so much room.
Matt and Kayla are pretty geared up for Christmas-- they have asked for about 1 million things, and probably will get most of it (thanks to grandparents and great grandma's)-- it also helps that their birthday's just a month later-- making it pretty easy to get them all their "wishes" within a few short months-- oh well-- you're only a kid once (and their quite cute when asking for things to be added to their "list"). We saw Santa Clause last week- and matt and Kayla were champs sitting on his lap- playing with his beard (my kids LOVE hair) and telling him about some of the toys that they would like... they were even mostly good during the hour wait to see the guy. They also LOVE seeing Christmas commercials, and we've even caught a couple Christmas specials. Lil' K at church is teaching them how to tell the Christmas story, and it's pretty funny to hear them talk about the coming of baby Jesus. Today Matt told a little boy at the library today that Christmas tree's are for Jesus' birthday. They are both talking up storms-- Kayla commonly blurts out paragraph's (sometimes only half being understandable due to her speed) and asks the funniest questions. I'm also loving some of their new sayings and things they come up with--
Matt wanted medicine the other day prior to him catching Kayla's cold. I told him no, cause he didn't have a cold like Kayla-- so he said "well mom, me freezing".
Kayla was wearing her 'I love New York' shirt from Janet and asked me what it said-- I told her that Janet gave that to her and what it says-- then explained that's where Janet's home is. Later I heard her 'reading' her shirt to Matt that her shirt saying that her shirt said "me love Janet's home".
"oh me gosh", "oh man", and "jeez pete" are also some of their more common sayings. Their getting so big that it's hard for me to remember to jot all of these cute sayings down in their baby books-- cause I know, all too soon these are going to be distant memories.
Anyway, gotta go clean the side bathroom (today's sheet's and 2 bathroom's day ;)) Later :)

Hi Nicole. I don't know if you remember me or not, I'm an old Grace friend of Peter's. I have been spying on yours and Peters Blog for a while and thought I would comment for once.
Sounds like you must be getting close if you're doing all that "nesting". When you start having days to do things like clean bathrooms...it's a sure sign that it won't be long now.
Your children are sooo sweet. I told peter that I love the picture on his blog of Matt in the Santa hat. Too cute!
