An Apple A Day...?
The past two months our family has visited the doctor's more than in the past two years. Starting with the birth of Julie (during which I had a terrible sinus infection and virus) her one week visit, and two and three week weight checks-- one month visit, Matt sick, Matt sick, Kayla sick-- and today's two month visit and Peter's visit today (for a bad virus). That's 10 times in two months (that doesn't even count my 2 follow-up visits with the midwife)-- thank God for the low co-pay, else we'd be moving right about now :)
Julie had two shots today, so she's not the happiest camper -- but aside from that she's growin' great :) Still lean and long-- but very healthy. Peter is sleeping off his virus right now, in hopes that he'll feel better tonight and for work tomorrow. Matt and Kayla seem to be feeling better-- and are really needing the weather to warm up so they can run out some of their energy.
I'm off to hold a fussy baby. I'll try to update more later.

I'm sorry I can't be more encouraging, but from the time my kids were babies to about 6 years, we probably paid our pediatrician's salary numerous times! Once they were through kindergarten, I think we all finally built the immune system we needed and I'm happy to say that neither of my kids have been to the doctor, besides well check-ups, in almost 2 years.
