Love,

And a better pic of Tinker Bell since she looks so... interesting?!? in the group shot above...

(More, and hopefully better Halloween pictures to come).

Saturday

Saturday was the Boyes family October Birthday Party. Birthday roll call-- Grandma Lois (check), Cooper (check), Angie (check), Mark (absent, at some football game ;) ), and Luke.

Baby Andrew got a chance to see what all this party stuff is about, and we all enjoyed cheering for our teams (M+K+J were all in state gear), I had to support u of m, although I'm a pretty good supporter of either team :)

Friday

Today was great fun. Jacob and Alayna came over, and we all headed to the gym to play with Liam (and play out some energy).

3 cute peaking faces.

And a ray of sunshine.

Friday night we headed out to our church's "Pirates who Don't do Anything Party". We climbed big ladders, made crafts, played games, bounced in bounce houses, played on the inflatables, and ended the night with the Veggie Tales "Pirates who Don't Do Anything" movie. A ton of people were there, but it was still quite fun!

Kayla climbing a VERY high ladder (with a harness).

Matt's turn (he made it to the top, but didn't like it at first, because he hates heights, but after thinking his accomplishment over, he decided that it was okay).

Thursday

On Thursday, we went on our first school field trip :) We had a blast riding on a tractor pulled wagon ride, picking an apple, pumpkin, and enjoying cider and a donut with our class before walking around the (very stinky) animal area.

Matt waiting for the class to show up.

Both kids being good listeners while hearing a brief description of how the apple orchard works.

M + K in the orchard with Mrs. Miller.

Kayla and her friend Z being cute animal faces (little boy to the side belonged to another group, and kept running in front of them on purpose)

Weekend Update

We hit Kensington's pumpkin patch with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Laura, Uncle Dave and Bo on Saturday. We had a great time running around, and finding the perfect pumpkins (although the selection didn't seem as good as it was last year).

Some parking lot balance beam practice.

Hay ride to the pumpkin patch.

The peanut looking for the perfect pumpkin.

Not really sure...
Cousins.

Siblings.

Grandma and Grandpa :)
Seriously cute 1 day old piglets. Too bad they end up so darn ugly.

Oh yeah, and Laura has a pretty good video from our Sunday afternoon photo shoot trying to get four little people looking the same way at the same time. By that point, Julie had lost all interest in the pictures, and would only allow them with the company of her blanket and paci.

Boys and Mixed Messages

Isn't this a common complaint? Seems it starts early...

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Matt and Kayla's bikes are sitting outside locked up at their school... in the rain. Here's hoping it stops soon- because I have no idea if I can fit their bikes into the van so Matt and Kayla might end up with a future "I had to ride my bike home from school in the rain" story that they can tell their kids.

Grand Rapids

The kids have been missing their cousins since they moved to East Grand Rapids, so we headed out for a day trip on Saturday. We had tons of fun walking up to their lake, going to the cider mill and playing at their house. Julie's been talking about Bren-nan, and Matt and Kayla are wondering when our next trip is planned :)
